Product Review: terrible battery life kills this product

we've had this unit for about 7 months now and just about everything seems right with this cleaning device, the weight, the ease of use - all except for the battery life, which sucks big time and you can't do anything about it. our is not that big and on a full charge done overnight, the battery would drain before we get done with about 500 sq ft of vacuuming. i would have gladly paid $50 for this unit if the battery either last longer or is swappable for continuous use. i guess we'll have to wait for version 2, which hopefully swiffer is in the process of researching.
