Product Reviews of Swiffer Sweeper 2 in 1 Mop and Broom Floor Cleaner Starter KitProduct Review: Good idea - poor quality Summary: 3 Stars
The best I like about it is that you _don't have to use special pads_ - doubled bounty and a bottle of Windex will cost you much less. Actually Windex is an overkill - some ammonia with water in a spray bottle is sufficient in most cases.
Also good for windows washing.
Now the bad news is that this piece of crap would break in a few months no matter how careful you're. I'm on 4th swiffer now, usually handle goes first.
If you happen to find it in some discount store for $5 or so, buy a few at once.
Product Review: Great For Cleaning Car Windows and Ceilings Too Summary: 5 Stars
I discovered a new use for our Swiffer that I want to share, since it might save someone else some time. If your front and back car windows are hard to clean by hand, try this. First, unsnap the top section of the Swiffer handle, giving you about an 18" handle with the Swiffer head at the end. Then, attach a small microfibre cloth to the head, spray some car window cleaner on the cloth, and wipe your car windows. It actually makes doing this fun. After I wiped mine, I attached a dry microfibre cloth and wiped them again to dry them good.
Product Review: Great Product! Summary: 5 Stars
At first I was suspicious about the claims of this product but after using it on wood floors I was convinced that it is a great way to keep a floor clean. No chemicals are needed. We have a golden retriever that sheds at least a cup of hair a day. The Swiffer is excellent for getting up this hair as well as the dirt that the kids track in. Try it and see.
Product Review: Great cleaning starts here! Summary: 5 Stars
This product is so great, a family member lifted my original and none were available in the typical stores in my area so I came to amazon... Thanks for providing me with another resource.
Product Review: Great concept, extremely poor quality Summary: 2 Stars
If the swiffer sweeper didn't break every three to four months, I'd give it FIVE stars. If it lasted a year, I'd give it FIVE stars. But for some reason P&G doesn't see the need to make a sweeper that is sturdy. Come on P&G, we're already buying the wet pads and the dry pads already. Why do you think we need to be replacing the sweeper itself every few months?
Not impressed and am hoping to find a similar product that doesn't break at the slightest pressure.
If anyone can steer me in the right direction, please let me know what you are using. If P&G is not careful, the Swiffer market is going to dry up.
