I have tried this product once, mixing a wool sweater and some smelly sweats that really needing washing. The sweater worked well. It just needed a little refreshening which the product did well. The sweats could be worn again if I really needed to wear them and did not have time for laundry. The scent masked the smells, but did not remove them, giving me a few more days until laundry day.

I suggest this product be used for some dry cleanables that just need refreshening. The product recommends that Swash not be used on any fabric that does not go into the dryer. It does not list wool as prohibited so I tried it on the sweater at a low temperature setting, but I would caution the use with wool. Wool does shrink, but I think when it gets wet only.

I also think that this product may work well for those who pay for their laundry loads or for those who are on vacation for extended periods of time. Some clothes can be worn longer without washing, but some definitely need soap and water! This is not a cleaning tool.

The product is packaged in single use packets with instructions on each package and there is no liquid so it can be transported on an airplane.

Not a replacement for dry cleaning or a solution for spot cleaning dry clean only clothing (as there is no spot cleaning or any actual 'cleaning' done with these towelettes). They just basically steam out wrinkles in already clean clothes that you'd like to wear again. Not something I see myself using regularly (I've only used 2 in the last 2 months), but I will continue to stock these in my laundry room. The few times I did reach for them I was thankful to have them on hand. They save me time and keep me looking polished in the office, even if I'm having an 'off' morning.

I loved the idea of doing my own dry cleaning clothes in the dryer, so I loved Dryel when it first came out, and used it often. Now there is a choice, a much more economical one. Swash Steam it Out are great when you have a few pieces and just want to freshen them and get rid of the wrinkles. I was never sure how you could put wrinkled clothes into a hot dryer and pull them out wrinkle free, but it works. These are great for travel, as you can tuck them into your suitcase, and quickly use the hotel laundromat to freshen the packed clothes for that business meeting. They have a nice fresh smell so your clothes smell fresh and clean. I would say they are the best invention since sliced bread, but I'm a big bread lover. They are close, though. :-)

Product Review: Does exactly what it claims to do

It "refreshes" clothes without cleaning them. I use it on wool dress pants and sports jackets. The effect is similar to brushing. It takes out light wrinkles and causes tight wrinkles to loosen up a bit. It softens clothes and makes the nap stand up. The latter effect it particularly noticeable on sweaters, which puff up quite a bit. You can also use the sheets after some mild hand-washing to remove spots.

It gives clothes an odor similar to dry cleaners. It goes away quickly if you wear the garments immediately after treatment, but if you do several and leave them in your closet it's unpleasant. On the other hand, if you want to fool people into thinking the clothes are fresh from the dry cleaner, you may like the odor.

I find it extremely useful. I wear business casual clothes to the office most days, and usually manage to avoid getting them wrinkled or dirty. Still, they look less fresh at the end of the day than the beginning, and if I wear them four or five times between dry cleaning, they get somewhat disreputable. I don't like the expense, trouble and garment wear-and-tear from frequent dry cleaning; these sheets do exactly what I want. I have a separate rack in the laundry room for hanging them afterwards, that keeps the odor acceptable.

This is cheaper and more convenient than dryer dry cleaning products and far more convenient than hand washing products but, of course, it doesn't clean. It doesn't remove wrinkles as well as a steamer (or even as well has hanging it up in a closed bathroom during a hot shower), but it leaves the clothes looking much better in other respects: fresh and a little wrinkled instead of limp and wrinkle-free.

If you need to freshen up some jeans or a sweater in about 10 minutes, this is a great little product. Just throw up to 5 garments in the dryer, put this damp, nicely scented sheet on top, and whoosh them around. Because, face it, the clothes you want to wear are not always clean and fresh. Why not 5 stars? Well, you've got to be near a dryer for one thing, which means it probably won't work well when traveling. On the other hand, many of us have people in our lives who tend to live in certain sweaters, hoodies and jeans, so I think this product has the potential to significantly improve the qualify of life of the people who live with them. It definitely works, but its uses are limited.
