First let me say I love this product and I usually pick them up at the local Vitamin Shoppe or GNC. However, I had wanted to order the Peanut Butter flavor as the nutrition store was out of product.
When I ordered it I received the Carmel Peanut Bars and was told that this product is not available in Peanut Butter - low and behold I'm eating one now! Hmmmmm.....
Further to this story is the fact that the product was sealed but when I opened up the bars and tasted them, I noticed they didn't taste fresh. In fact, they tasted stale, the chocolate coating had a white oxidation color to them. I don't know if they were just an older batch that has been sitting on a shelf much too long or if I just got a bad box of bars.
My advice, don't by this stuff online if you get a bad batch you get the privilege of paying to ship it back! THAT SUCKS...just pick them up at your local nutritional outlet and this way if you get a bad bar you can walk in and exchange them.
So...there you go. Order TVs, Ipods, and the like online but get your nutritional bars (things that you actually taste when you consume them) locally.
