Once upon a time I lived in a house designed by a man who happened to be about 6 and a half feet tall. He hung the mirror in the bathroom so that he could see perfectly. I had to stand on a stool to put on mascara and never could see my lips. The same guy must have designed this heating pad!
The new controller is nice and easy to use, but it is placed so far out the cord that I have to fish around and reel it in to turn the heating pad off. Not so wonderful when my bursitis is acting up at three in the morning.

This pad is a nice size but I found the plastic felt like it was over-heating. I also didn't like that the cover twisted all over and pilled in the wash. Fortunately, the pad died after about 2 years of use. I won't buy another one like it.Product Review: One of the few that doesn't shut off automatically.

I purchased this because I couldn't find a heating pad that doesn't shut itself off. I want to be able to control when the pad is on or off and finding one that allows this is becoming increasingly difficult to find. Excellent pad with one exception. It smells awful for a while, in fact, I ended up leaving it on to try to "burn" out the smell because the odor at first was terrible. It did fade and now is great and provides gentle heat on my back at night when I have issues with spasms.Product Review: Perfect

Just in agreement with everyone else. Price is low and there is no autoshutoff. I am using this as a seeding germination accelerator, putting it under my seedings in peats plus and have no doubt it will be just as good as my previous, and more expensive, heating solutions.Product Review: Plenty Good for My Dog

Like so many others, I purchased this pad for my large dog. I lay on the floor of her Dogloo a thin blanket, this pad, and top them with a dog cushion.
It works well at where we live - CA with maybe one snow day a year with the winter temperature ranging between the 30F - 40F.
This product is used outside in the Dogloo mostly at night. I set the temperature at the lowest, and my dog stays warm throughout the night: she is fully stretched out from comfort, as opposed to be curled up into a ball when cold. It is large, easy to operate, and reliable (so far).
At the time I did my research, the price at amazon was the best. Considering how much more other similar dog warming products cost, I would get this product (for my dog) again.
