This is simply a wonderful product, yet hard to find in local stores. I bought 4 of these from Amazon a few years ago for outside pet beds and they work really well underneath light covers. Unfortunately my husband threw them away by accident so that's the reason for the replacements. I was disappointed to find that I could only buy three this year. I looked all over in my area for a heating pad that doesn't shut off automatically and they were very hard to find. What I was looking for. When you get older you don't want a heating pad that shuts off just as your aches and pains are beginning to feel better. I had assumed that they weren't making them without the auto shutoff anymore. but here they were on Amazon. The heat control seems a little uneven but you and put it on low and it works and works and works
