I purchased two of these heating pads recently and am quite pleased. I like that there is no automatic shutoff. I also like that the heating pad gets sufficiently warm. Many of the more expensive heating pads that I bought recently never really got warm enough to meet my needs and would automatically shut off after a few hours.Product Review: Good for the price

We were looking for a heating pad that did NOT have an automatic shut off. Most do, and it's used for our old arthritic cat (indoors). We can't get her off of it...and we just keep it set on low.
She says it "purrrrrrr-fect".

I am not sure why there are not more warming blankets that do not auto shut off after a few hours or cost a lot of money. These do just what we needed. We bought two, one for each cat and only turn them off when we leave for a long period of time and during the warmer days. I use this on my massage clients to assist in warming up the tissue. It works great for what I use it for. The cord is stiff but works for me.
