Product Review: Terrible

DON'T BUY IT!!! We bought this for our newborn baby and it's terrible. Yesterday, the vaporizer gave out a strong burning smell and then within 15 minutes or so, the baby room is filled with smoke. It's scary. What if we were not in the baby room and it's on for the whole night?Product Review: Burned hole in carpet discolored rug leaked water all over.

Do not buy faulty item it is a disaster to deal with no only did not preform with in specified standards it created a fire hazard and damage carpeting it could have possibly created a shock hazard. The hazard would have been to the wet flooring and electrical connection. Sunbeam does not have a live person answering the telephone but a recording to do the internet only for customer service. Why don't give me a call at home or respond my e-mail if not heard from with in a week I will pursue the problem the faulty vaporizer in the court for damages for my home.Product Review: Sunbeam Mister blues

I find the mister works well, when it works. The container needs to be bigger. The automatic shut off feature is good. It gets, very messy and sputters if the top isn't on JUST right. It's quiet and heats up quickly.Product Review: We had this for a while

This is not bad for a cheap humidifier. However:- Lots of water on/around the tank after a couple of hours (have to put it on a mat or a pile of towels)
- stopped working after about a year
- have to clean the electrodes (it is a *warm* mist humidifier - it boils the water)
All in all, I was happy (got it for twelve bucks last year). The boiling kills a lot of the
bacteria you get from the "ultrasound" humidifiers.
That said, I am in the market for something that will run longer, be less messy, more durable, and
easier to maintain.

although it says that it is a cool mist humidifier it is actually a warm mist humidifier but it seems to do its job quite alright.but im not sure it would last very long and would not recommend to anyone.
