I did not get this on Amazon got it while on vacation and my back was not dealing with the resort mattress very well.
I have disk degeneration and displacement, and a need to lay on my side to sleep by being able to attach the pad I can lay how I need to lay still have the pad secure and helping to calm the spasms and pain so I can sleep.
LOVE LOVE Love it!

This pad works great. I almost didn't purchase it after reading the reviews about it not getting hot enough. These people are crazy. The pad gets hot enough that you cannot place it on bare skin. Definitely a good buy-Product Review: Poor Quality!

I purchased this product to ease my tense muscles. I only used it a few times when the control began flashing red, no response to any buttons pressed (including inability to turn it off) and the heat function no longer operated. I was really bummed so I contacted Amazon and was able to send it in for a replacement- Yea! so I thought... So, I was happy to have a working heating pad again. I used this one at least several times or so, then it did the same thing as the first one. It stopped working. It has already been over 30 days so Amazon refused to take it back despite it being a defective item. Instead, they only could offer the number for Sunbeam. They were closed when I called, but if anyone else is having this problem, which I would think it HIGHLY LIKELY considering my bad experience with TWO of these heating pads you can contact Sunbeam at 1800 892 7684 My experience with this heating pad has been disappointing and I would not recommend this heating pad to others. In addition to not working more than several uses, the blue fabric is an unpleasant texture and appears to be low quality.Product Review: Real Heat

I had this product for 4 months. I used it for about 3 days when I first got it and didn't have to use it again until 4 months later. The first time I used it, it really wasn't the most impressive thing, the heat is rather lame. With other pads I usually put a light cover to make sure my back doesn't get harmed but with this the t-shirt on your back would suck up a ton of heat. That said, plugging it in after 4 months there was no response, I tried pressing the on a couple times nothing. I tried another socket and the controller blew up in my hand giving me a light burn... sadly it blowing up gave me more heat than it could produce over 3 days. I will never buy any sunbeam product ever again, I don't need to be injured with cheap garbage. I think I've finally learned my lesson of "getting what you pay for".Product Review: Really good heating pad!

I have used pretty much every brand of heating pad out there and I have to say that I think this is the best one yet. I did not find any problems with it heating up as previous reviewers did. It got very hot and stayed that way. It does auto shut off after a time but all the newer heating pads have this safety feature now. A little on the expensive side but I like that I can wrap it around my knee or back and use the velcro to keep it in place. I am going to buy a second one to keep in my recliner.
