I had an almost identical heating pad for years, and I loved it. Unfortunately, in a totally uncharacteristic fit of neatness last year, I purged a lot of extraneous possessions and, not recognizing what this power cord was for, I threw it out. Subsequently, running across the pad sans cord, I said well, gee, no use hanging onto the pad without a cord, so I tossed it. Then, of course, I found where I had safely stashed the cord that I THOUGHT I had thrown away.
Ennyhoo, with my sciatica and lumbar area nerve compression from a mild but congenital scoliosis, it is indispensable for me to have a source of gentle heat that will shut off with a self timer. Most other heating pads have only the three (HI, MED, LOW) settings, but this one has four, the lowest being the one that I depend on. Never gets too hot.
