The suction mechanism works well and it holds to the glass block in my shower. However, the holder for the shower head is too flexible to hold the heavy Kohler shower head. This works well. I was concerned it might keep coming off the wall but it hasn't at all. I can put the shower head at any height without having to drill into my plastic shower walls. I recommend it for children and the elderly, or post surgery.Product Review: Works good
