Product Review: LOVE IT!

I bought this for my sister who just had her second baby...and to be honest, she never lost the baby weight from the first one. She uses it everyday on the walks she was already taking and she loves being able to get that "gym-type workout" without going to the gym. It was easy to set up to her stroller and simple to use. I bought the Strollometer last fall and have nothing but great things to say about it -- I am using it on a BOB Sport Utility D'Lux stroller and have had no problems at all. Easy to install, easy to use and accurate! I have never had my magnets fall off and I lug it in and out of my car 3-4 times/week as well as take my stroller on the beach. It makes jogging fun and allows you to see your accomplishments right away! Love that I can follow my distance and speed -- keeps me on my toes! My running group trainers all love it and love to push my stroller so that they can use it, too! Great customer service, too -- had an email question recently and Adi got back to me with an answer within hours, on a Sunday evening, no less. Thank you, Adi!!!Product Review: Love it!

I had initially emailed the creator of this product to ask a for the specific shade of the lavendar strollometer. Imagine my surprise when she emailed me back personally with the answer and offered to send me pictures on placement of the magnets and sensor for my Graco Quattro! By the way, for those wondering the lavendar color is very light, close to a pink.
I recieved the product and put it on immediately and easily! I've not had any problems with the magnet falling off or with the distance being off. The instruction guide is very clear and step by step. For those reviews that state things like "2 of my 3 magnets fell off on my very first walk.." I get the sense that they mean they put all 3 on at once which of course makes the strollometer reading inaccurate...it's meant to count each rotation only once.
As for use, I love the challenge it provides me by pushing myself to go a little faster or a little further with each walk. I would definetly recommend this product to anyone who wants to challenge themselves while trying to get in a workout with a little one!
Product Review: Nice concept, but incompatible with my stroller

I purchased this before our vacation, thinking it would be nice to log our miles and to keep track of the temperature while we were out and about.
It took my husband 20-30 minutes to get it hooked up and caused him some frustration. (I tried to stay out of the way, so I'm not sure exactly what the problem was.)
After we had agreed on a location for the sensor, we calibrated the meter, and thought we were in the clear.
All was well until I tried to fold the stroller (a Maclaren Quest) and a) the stroller wouldn't close with the strollometer attached to its leg, and b) even if the stroller had closed, the wand would have to have been reset each time the stroller was unfolded.
If you're using this on a non-umbrella-type stroller or a stroller that you seldom fold, you may have better luck. But for my stroller, I couldn't find a place where it would work properly.
I was also disappointed to see that the mileage, etc. resets each night at midnight, so there's no logging of total miles on the odometer.
I'm sure this will work find for some purposes, but it wasn't the answer I was looking for.
Product Review: Not working after 1 week

I loved the item for one week. Then it ceased to work. I threw out the box and hope that I can return it for a new one. If it works, its great. Hope I just got a bum one! I just wish that the wheel guage didn't move as easily as it does because after folding up my jogger sometimes it moves and I have to adjust it so it doesn't hit my wheel.
