Product Review: good product...could be great with some changes

I purchased the "stollometer" for my wife as gift about a month ago, most of my comments regarding the installation rather than the use. She hasn't had any complaints:
1. Easy install and setup of the computer functions.
2. Appearance of a very sturdy design however upon installing the reader cable (sticks out from the stroller, and is supposed to sit about an inch or so from the wheel where the magnet is placed) came apart at the base as I was bending it into place. I managed to get it back into the base but not after much effort and I wonder if I haven't caused damage that will cause it to fall apart at some later date.
3. The reader that is attached to the top of the stroller has a very sturdy design but unfortunately the reader only moves forward and back instead of a twisting in an up and down motion. What this means is that for someone my height 6'1", you can't read it without bending down to about a 5'6" height. This of course will be different with other strollers but it will always sit at the same angle as the stroller handle. So if your stroller handle is angled more horizontal than vertical, you'll have a hard time reading the meter.
4. I see that bicycle meters are much less expensive and I can't help but wonder if they do the exact same thing, it would have made more sense to just buy one of those instead of the strollometer.
I tend to be more of a pessimist. Overall it's been a good product and my wife who uses her jogger as much as most people use a car likes it thus far.

this is a must have. i love mine. i love knowing how fast, how far and how long i have walked, (not to mention the other features). this is a must have for strollers!!!! no complaints!!!!
