I'm a big herbal tea drinker, and knew I was not playing it smart by using any refined sugar. I happened upon this purely by chance, never having heard of it before. Wow! What a revelation! This stuff really works extremely well. The only thing to remember is USE LESS! Too much creates bitterness, the most common complaint. Use only a small fraction that you would use if it was sugar- then put half of THAT back. It's that potent. But, you will never have to worry about gaining pounds from sweetening things again. What a marvelous product. No danger for diabetics, either.
Description of Stevita Stevia Spoonable Powder 16 Oz
Premium granulated stevia extrtact (96% glycosides**,with high % of Rebaudiosides***), with erythritol (a natural flowing agent). ** The stevia plant produces extensively sweet molecules (glycosides) mainly in the leaves where the concentration of these molecules range from 8 to 12% of the volume of the leaves. *** The glycosides present in the stevia leaves are referred to as ''steviosides''. Among these ''steviosides'', the most common is Stevioside followed by Rebaudioside. The Stevioside has an herbal taste and the Rebaudioside has no herbal taste. Stevita's premium stevia extract has a high concentration of these glycosides with a clean, clear taste with no bitter aftertaste.Herbal Supplements
