I found Stevita in the small plastic bottle while looking for a purse size bottle. The clear liquid tastes good, has very little aftertaste so common to the powders and is very much like sugar. Stevita is a nice brand of stevia sweetener. It comes in a convenient size bottle I can throw in my tote to have on hand whenever I need. I prefer using stevia as a sweetener for things like teas or citrus type of drinks. I don't care for its flavor with things like coffee and cream for example.Product Review: Love it!

I have used Stevia extract as a sugar replacement for a few years now and have found some products to be better than others. Because of its' liquid nature it blends extremely well and I detected absolutely no bitter taste when consuming. I find that combining sugar substitutes gives the sweetness a more well rounded flaver and for a glass of strong iced green tea a few drops of Stevita Co. Inc., Liquid Stevia Extract and 1/8th of a teaspoon of Splenda granules to be sweet tea heaven! I purchased several Stevita products and so far I am very pleased. I purchased both this liquid sweetener and another that has a mild strawberry flavor. To be honest, I haven't tried the plain liquid yet but I have tried the strawberry one (which I am assuming is probably the same thing with added flavor).
Since I have read over and over people complaining of getting a bitter or weird after taste from stevia products, I decided to add one drop at a time to a 12oz glass of water; tasting as I went. I stopped at 15 drops... was a nice subtle strawberry flavor/scent/sweetness with little to no after-taste.
Stevia does have an inherant "bitterness" to it but this bitterness varies from product to product and can mostly be controlled by the amount used (although some brands have more of the bitterness than others). If you add too much you will get the strong bitter/weird after-taste.
If you like a subtle sweetness you will probably like most Stevita products but if you are looking for a sweetener to make things super sweet as in Kool-Aid, grape juice, pop, etc... this probably isn't the sweetnener for you as the bitter taste will be quite pronounced at that level of sweetness.
I bought the flavored sweetener to put in my purse... so when I go out to eat or grab a bottle of water on-the-go I can quickly and easily add a few drops to the water and have something with flavor instead of plain water all the time (I am on a low carb diet but plan to maintain a lower carb lifestyle even after I have lost the excess weight).
When I try the plain liquid sweetener, if I have a different opinion, I will update this review =)

i am very happy with this sweetener. i had tried some other stevia extract liquids and gotten a bit of mediciney aftertaste. with this product i detect no aftertaste at all! for a healthy alternative to sugar and especially the artificial sweeteners, stevita liquid is the best i have found so far.
