Bought this for my GF, tried it myself. Steams up fast. Amount of steam is good. I think my skin likes it. So do my sinuses. Item is a bit bulky with a large footprint, esp if you have limited counter space in your bathroom. My GF used hers in the kitchen. If you want steam, this unit will not disappoint. the steamer is great, it works in seconds. In only 3 minutes my faced felt very sooth. My pores opened and it was very fast to clean out the blackheads. I use the steamer 3 times a week and it works wonders. After I steam my face and take out all the blemish, I use a toner and then a daily cream.
I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this steam facial machine for my wife. Although I use it too. It does produce a lot of steam in a short period of time. I have to add a pinch of salt to the water, since our tap water in Georgia is very soft.
It does double duty as a room humidifier. By removing the face cone it will produce steam into the room. A nice addition for wintertime. It's not going to replace a stand alone humidifier but works in a pinch.
Good value for the $$.
