Product Review: if you buy one, this is the one to get. but: a word of caution

If you buy a neti-pot, this is the one to get. Main reasons: it's stainless steel, the size is right, the manual is detailed, and customer service from this seller is excellent.
But beware: it is very easy to use these incorrectly, and end up with painful congestion in your ears and sinuses, even though your nasal passages feel great. I personally decided not to use it anymore; your mileage may vary. But before you use it, Google "neti pot ear congestion." Many people have messed up their ears by using these things. Again, maybe this is their fault for not following directions; I don't know. But I personally will not take a chance on using neti pots again.

I didn't buy this neti pot from Amazon, but the neti pot I purchased from another site was identical. I felt compelled to write a review for it because I was pretty disappointed. I am a long-time neti pot user, and am convinced of the positive benefits of the practice. I wouldn't want someone to dismiss the practice because they were unhappy with the particular pot they bought.
On the positive side, I liked that this pot was larger than most. Also, the tapered nozzle is nice, and it comes with thorough instructions.
On the negative side, the pot is unstable when empty, and it doesn't drain completely. But my biggest complaint is that after a few months of daily use, the pot began to corrode.
I was unwilling to put rust in my sinuses, so at that point I threw it away and bought a glazed ceramic pot.
I hope this review helps others avoid my bad experience with this product.

Love it. It's easy to use. I don't have to worry about the children accidently breaking it and I can sterilize it with ease. It has helped with congestion and itchy eyes.
