Product Review: Looked Far and Wide: Finally a Winner

I love using a Neti. I have seasonal sinus trouble and the process keeps me pretty clear, cutting way down on the sneezing.
I have always had 2 complaints about other pots, not enough water and leakage all down your face.
This pot fixes both problems, holds plenty of water, double the average neti and with the flared tip nozzle there is NO leakage. Water pours straight and swift through the sinuses.
Plus you get the cleanliness and durability of stainless.
5 Neti stars for this great pot.

It works very well. Fits my nostrils perfectly. It gives the feel of an actual yogic neti pot not an imitation. It is easy to use with instructions. Not sure if I would have spent $24 on a neti pot had I seen it in a store. It is much better than the plastic neti pot I had got for $7. This neti pot can get dents if it falls. I would get one for friends if it were cheaper.

I decided to upgrade from one of the drug store plastic neti pots over my fear of a possible chemical release from the combination of plastic and hot water. The price really isn't that much more than a plastic pot and it's durable, and I believe safer. The pot came with a rather long instruction manual, which I quickly flipped through. It was actually very helpful - I learned that I wasn't positioning my body and head exactly right to get the maximum benefit. The size is great, and I thought the stainless metal would be more hygienic than plastic, and obviously not breakable like ceramic. However, it may be the fittings that are used to put the spout on the body, or just the metal itself, but when I mix the solution it ends up with a seriously BAD metallic residue/twang.
It's very disturbing. I have done nasal irrigation before, for years, so I'm familiar with how it does work, and what the effects feel like. This pot is not good, I'll be buying a ceramic one instead.

The neti pot is heavy gauge stainless steel with a smooth spout that won't scratch your nose. I bought this for my husband after having bought a ceramic one for me. He says it works well, but is a little heavy. It should be rinsed out once used to prevent pitting.
