I have been using Squigle toothpaste for about 4 years now and my previous canker sore problems have effectively gone away. Before finding out about Squigle, I too had suffered with canker sores for years. Anytime I would eat foods with rough edges that can scrape the inside of your mouth like nacho chips, for example, canker sores would eventually develop. Squigle toothpaste is a remedy that actaully works. Well worth the money. Many sites offer the tubes in 3 packs which brings the cost down to less than $30. Some sites even offer free shipping.
Description of Squigle Enamel Saver Toothpaste - 4 oz

Painful canker sores, chapped lips and perioral dermatitis are often the result of using toothpaste containing SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), cocamidopropyl betaine, pyrophosphates, bleaches and strong flavors. Avoid bad breath, gum disease and fight cavities and plaque with Squigle (Enamel Saver ) Toothpaste containing flouride plus 36% by weight of natural Xylitol. Squigle protects and soothes dry mouths, and it's great for people who get mouth ulcers from cancer chemotherapy. Squigle Toothpaste has a mild pleasant peppermint flavor which kids love.
