I purchased this after I purchased the same vest in a medium and a waist cincher in small. When I first got the medium vest, I could barely close it on the first set of clasps. After about a month of wearing it every day for 8 hours, I could barely tell I was wearing it and felt totally comfortable in it. So, since I was still looking for further compression, I went ahead and ordered a small. Works like a dream! I like the vests more than the cincher because the smothing effect works all the way up the back and is longer down than the waist cincher. I do reccomend both however as the straps limit the types of tops you wear. The hooks (as is the case with all the squeem shapewear) do show through some clingy tops, but if I layer a tank over it and then the top I want to wear, their appearance is minimised.
Great product and in my opinion, worth every penny.
