I suffer from very bad allergies. I was reading that the papaya enzyme was good for inflammation of the sinus passages. The papaya enzyme also tastes great, I could eat them like candy but I only use what is recommended for one day.Product Review: Not that great

I was buying enzymes from GNC that almost worked too well. They left me constipated and were extremely expensive. I saw these at the store and they were much cheaper, I tried them and it was like taking nothing at all. I had some left and gave them to my older dog because she was going loose and they did nothing for her either. I'm looking for a better brand with a muliti-enzyme foruma. These only have papain in them which helps digest proteins. Some enzymes help digest fats, milk sugars and carbs.Product Review: Papaya Enzyme

Neurologist recommended Papaya Enzyme back in 2000 after a stroke, so no medicines would upset my stomach. Many other health issues and medicines added and changed still take my Spring Valley Papaya Enzyme. I was diagnosed with acid reflux and a friend that works at Walmart told me she also has acid reflux and that she chews 4 papaya enzymes when her acid reflux is acting up, I bought some and they help me alot. I do wish they would make them without sugar I was also diagnosed with diabetes today and I read the ingredients on the papaya enzyme and it has sugar I don't know how much is in them but I sure hate to have to quit taking them I have tried Nexium and prilosec but the papaya helps me better than these high dollar meds. Please start making them without sugar.
