this thing is a waste of money. One size does not fit all (how could it?). For me at 5'5", this thing was too long to fit my spine properly. Save your money and get an inversion table. Or try a vertical knee raise machine at the gym, that adjusted my back better than anything (look it up on google to see what the machine looks like)Product Review: Nice little device for the price

I have had problems with my back for over the last two years. I have had pain in the upper back region and sometimes in the lower back but not as often. I used this 30minutes a day and it has helped lower my discomfort in the lower and upper back areas. I can hear some of my vertebres pop so it did something and is not bad for the price better than going to the chiropractor at least for me. Chiros couldn't fix my problem misaligned vertebres and its cheaper than paying 35-50 bucks an adjustment. I'm also wondering if chiro can do an adjustment on this device rather than the table which would give my back some more popping power.Product Review: Taking Up Space

I ordered this product, because I am a long time sufferer of back, neck and shoulder pain. I have had surgery on my back, tried chiropractics, medications, etc. I saw this on Amazon and thought it sounded like an amazing idea. I was really excited when it arrived a couple days later, until my husband took it out of the box, and we both just looked at it. I kept telling him to have hope, it might just work. Well, he and I have both tried it, several times now, and it has caused more pain and stiffness than was there to begin with. It doesn't work on neck/shoulder pain, so it's basically designed just for your lower back... but once I get on that thing, it's nearly impossible to get off... it hurts!!! So... a pretty expensive piece of plastic setting in my bedroom is what it has become. I was very disappointed, to say the least.Product Review: It's a miracle!

Let me preface this by saying, I've always had back problems. When I was a teenager, I had muscular pain from over-exertion (re-arranging my bedroom, etc) and slowly, over the years, the pain became more serious when it came.
Twice in the last ten years, I've been completely debilitated by sharp, excruciating pain (possibly a pinched nerve, or bulging disk) and would be relegated to laying on the floor, immobile for about a week. Not moving at all, getting up to even crawl to the bathroom was nearly impossible, so I'd eat and drink as little as possible.
Last week, I started feeling that familiar sharp twinge in my lower to mid back and started to worry that it was about to go out.
I'm an ICU nurse, so I work 12-14 hour shifts without stopping, rolling very heavy sedated patients several times a night. I can't call in sick because we're so short staffed.
I bought this thing on ebay (for about $20 with shipping) and thought, if it works, great; if not, I'll throw it in the recycle bin.
Let me tell you, honestly, it's amazing.
At first, I laid on it and thought--ok, this is going to be tough.
I'm 5'10" tall, and weigh 140 pounds. I think this might not work for people who are very heavy or have a big musculature, but I'm small/tall enough that this thing fits me well, and I don't exert too much downward force on my own frame.
I also have no butt (sadly, I'm working on it)so I have to bend my knees and plant my feet on the ground to elevate my backside a bit. This with the pillow under my head as recommended by the instructions, and a little minor adjusting up and down to find the right part of the curve, and INSTANTLY I felt a stretching and heard a few pops that felt amazing and relieving.
After only about 10 minutes on the thing I stood up and felt half my age. My back hasn't felt this good since I was in my early 20s!!!
I'm never going to be without this thing, and now when I head back to grad school, this thing is the first thing I'm packing in my suitcase.
Don't take my word for it--try it out, you can return it if it doesn't work for you, but if it does work...my goodness, how wonderful!
I'm so happy I could skip for joy!!
