Product Reviews of Spine-Worx Back Realignment DeviceProduct Review: Highly recommend! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased my Sine-Worx about a month ago after maxing out how much medicine I could take without going to prescribed narcotics. (I have been on anti-infamatory meds for over 20 years.) I am happy to report that the spine-worx has helped so much that I have reduced my evening pain meds by a third already!
It IS a little awkward getting situated on the device. I find that lying down next to it & then sliding my body over on it is the easiest way for me to do it. I also usually put a pillow under my knees and at least a neck roll under my neck. (I have had three spinal surgeries, including two on my neck.) At first my back may feel totally spasmed up, but within minutes it begins to relax.
Sometimes I will stop & use it for 10 or 15 minutes before dinner because my back is hurting again. After that "adjustment", I can go until bedtime with very little discomfort! However, if I then go to sleep without lying on it again for 15 - 20 minutes (because I'm feeling fine at the time) I find that I wake up very sore during the night. I definitely sleep better when I do the re-alignment before I go to sleep. Now I keep it right beside my bed!
This one product has vastly improved my quality of life, and I am so grateful! I don't know HOW it works, but it sure has worked for me!
Product Review: Highly recommend! Summary: 5 Stars
This is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST purchase I have ever made hands down!
I've had this product for 7 months now and I say BUY IT!
I'm 36 and have had extreme pain in my lower back since I was in high school. Every morning I would wake up in agony and have to either stretch, go for a walk, make my 6 year old walk on it or my husband massage it.
It took about a week of 5-10 minutes a day before I could literally jump out of bed in the morning. I used it faithfully for about another 2 weeks and then realized I didn't need it as much. I now use it about once a month when I feel it starting to tighten up. I will own it until the end.
It's kind of tricky to get on it properly but before buying it I read a review to "rock" on it. I also use my hands to make sure my spine is positioned properly. I started to use one of my couch pillows but quickly realized it was way too bulky and was pushing my neck up instead of straightening it out. I then switched to a bedroom pillow and wella! It works great!
Highly recommend!
Product Review: I don't know about this??? Summary: 1 Stars
I tried it and did not like it at all, didn't relieve any pressure and its not very relaxing trying to get your body on it. Its a very strange device. I sent mine back!!
Product Review: I got more pain from it Summary: 1 Stars
I am one of those who got hurt by this product. It happened during the second use. I was very careful and tried to follow the instructions exactly. Also, I am a massage therapist, so I am not ignorant about the spine and the muscles around. Yet, during the first use I found it difficult to get into and out of the device. I thought I just need some time to get used to it. During the second use, intended to intercept a starting low-back problem, I managed to "pop" into much more pain. I barely got off the device and the pain took many days to subside. So, instead of alignment, I got "disaligned". I never dared use the device again. So, even though I see that a lot of people found this product helpful, it is likely dangerous for some. In addition, it's been more than a year since my second, unfortunate try, and I recently noticed that the yellow rubber parts in the middle are cracked all over, even though I have not used the device at all (or could this happen because of lack of use?).
Product Review: I guess it depends on the person Summary: 4 Stars
The instructions are quite detailed so it's good but... I have no idea how this thing could be "universal" to any height... that part doesn't make sense to me.
Having said that, the first time i tried this.. it hurt. Perhaps it's because my back is retarded, or maybe cuz my back is fine, or perhaps i'm doing it wrong entirely. Whatever the reason it kindda hurts. But on the other hand, I let my friend use it and she says it hurts toward the beginning but she felt so much better as her muscles were able to relax and when she got off the thing. My mother absolutely fell in love with this thing the first time. She says she can't even feel any pain... just pure relaxation and she says it felt like she was massaged from head to feet for hours.
What is up with the discrepancy? No idea. But apparently it works well for some but not the other. Not 100% sure what the different factors are... the document it comes with doesn't explain that. Perhaps it's the condition of the back/spine of the person that makes the difference? Or perhaps the height? Your guess is as good as mine.
I gave it four stars cause when it works, it seems to do wonders. For me, can't really tell the difference that much but I can feel the pressure where it should as the instruction says.
