My wife has suffered from SAD for many years. I got this SAD light to help her beat the gloomy Oregon winters. From what I've seen, it's been effective against her illness. She's been alot more energetic and much less emotional. Before she used to get upset on the most trivial matters. I knew she was sick but just didn't know what was it. Anyway, her mood is back to normal now and I'm starting to use it too to see if it helps with my energy levels.
This is a basic entry model and there's no intricate displays or glowing buttons. Doesn't look the best but does the job well.
Good product and highly recommended for those with SAD.
