I fell in love with cozy, hot water bottles after a trip to England. It's how they warm up their beds at night - much cheaper and safer than heating blankets. I couldn't purchase one while in the UK because they're a seasonal item, so I purchased online when I returned home. My hottie arrived quickly & safely.
Product Review: CHEAP and HORRIBLE

I've always owned a hot water bottle and loved them. When my aged bottle died after ten years recently, I went online and bought this as a replacement. It was horrible. It lost the heat very quickly, the cover is cheap, and so thin the bottle scalds if the water is warmer than tepid. Worst of all, the bottle sprang a terminal leak after just one month! I got two..one for my mom and later one for me. My mom was very happy with hers. Mine leaked from the cap after about 25 uses. I did use hot water in it..but non boiling/steaming water. Just hot enough to be quite warm. On the other hand the $25 one I got..leaked after 5 uses from the bottom so at least this one held up construction wise.
Other than that..its a very nice bottle..cover is also nice.

I made this purchase to decide if I liked hot water bottles, and due to its low cost, this is a good entry-level model. I've definitely become a lifetime hot water bottle user. In addition to warming my feet in bed, it was truly excellent for cramps, and also for keeping me warm on the couch while the heat was turned down to conserve energy.
Unfortunately I won't be using this particular bottle any longer, since it started leaking from the stopper end after only two months of light-to-moderate use. I'll be shopping around for a sturdier model now.

I wanted an old fashioned hot water bottle for a trip to Europe. It's very low-tech and easy to use and it did the trick perfectly. Fill with hot water and relax! I tried to find a rubber hot water bottle locally but even when I finally found one I thought it was too pricey. I have been very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it. There was no danger of spillage and I never got the nice terry cover wet when I filled or emptied the bottle.
