It's an anti-oxidant and some kind of precursor that's supposed to work well in helping prevent the H1-N1 virus by building up your immune system. You can look up the technical details yourselves. Won't know until I don't get it..... or do.... I've been taking it since the "pandemic hype" started in April so I'll see. :>)

The product was delivered as advertised. It took a bit longer than some orders from other suppliers but otherwise I have no additional comments. The timed release version is availiable at Whole Foods.
