I am a big fan of grapefruit seed extract(g.s.e.)! I had not heard of g.s.e. until a colleague shared this with me. As a teacher I am exposed to many germs in a school year. During the year, I battle and fight to stave off the colds, flus and other extremes. Where I swear by Airborne (another great product), I often need more.
It is a concentrated, syrup like liquid that you add to liquid.
Pros-I have fought off colds at least 4 times this school year and am only half way done with the year. (NOTE: I can always feel my body telling me that I am weaker and starting to feel bad). This particular product was half the price of the other top seller and has been great.
Cons-(not so much cons as much as things to keep in mind) It is a concentrated, syrup like liquid that (by itself) is exceptionally bitter. I would not recommend this with water alone. I have been adding it to orange juice as the citrus juice seems to counter the extreme citrus and bitterness in the product.
I am confident that this product will help my body fight off the onslaught of germs and illnesses that bombard my classroom each year.
