I haven't had any trouble finding my baby's heart beat with the doppler. However, the rate display is grossly inaccurate when compared to either ultrasound or my OB's doppler. It was noted that the purchaser could choose the probe - 2 or 3 mhz - but the company automatically ships the cheaper one (2 mhz). When I contacted the company I was told I could return the probe and they would then ship me the other one. Sorry, but I ordered it so I'd have it on hand...I didn't want to have to wait another week or two for the exchange to take place, not to mention the cost of shipping the probe back. If they say the purchaser selects the probe...they should allow that to be done up front.
