I got a clock just like this for my son. It was the first clock that worked!!!!!
After having to wake him from childhood until now (he is 22) he can now get up on his own.
It really rocks the bed! The vibrations are so strong I can hear it in the room below his bedroom.
So when my daughter-in-law mentioned the same problem with her son (during a pre-Christmas visit) I immediately ordered this one for him!

This is perfect for getting my husband out of bed- perfect! It's everything I expected from the description. BTW, my husband is not hard of hearing or does not have any issues other than he's a very sound sleeper. It works.
