THIS IS LIKE THE COOLEST ALARM CLOCK, AND IT REALLY WAKES MY SON! HIS BUS COMES AT 7:05 AM. ALWAYS HAD A HARD TIME GETTING UP, AND I REFUSED TO HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY. SINCE HE GOT THIS ALARM CLOCK, HE NEVER MISSED HIS BUS. ALTHOUGH, IF YOU DONT CHECK, SOMETIMES ONLY THE LIGHTS WILL FLASH OR THE VIBRATE WONT VIBRATE. YOU REALLY HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOU TURN IT ON PROPERLY. BUT ITS A REALLY GOOD CLOCK.Product Review: Last resort, finally success

I've spent tons of money trying all kinds of alarms... CDs with annoying sounds, light alarms that simulate sunshine. Nothing worked. Until I got this. I don't use the buzzer portion, so I can't comment on that, but the shaker wakes me up every time. In fact, I set the shaker alarm to go off in the middle of my 30 minute wake CD I made, and I remember nothing before the shaker went off. I stopped using the CD altogether and now just use the shaker as my alarm.
I've only had this a month, so I can't speak to the people who say the shaker stops working after a while. If it does, I'll be sure to repost. But so far, I haven't gotten used to the shaking and slept through it the way I have other alarms, it still wakes me as well as it did the first day. So for those of you who are having trouble with sound alarms, over sleep with no memory of your alarm going off, for the price, this is worth trying. I wish I had found this before I spent hundreds on other alarms. Bottom line, I haven't been late with this alarm yet. That alone is enough for 5 stars for me.

Very loud, will scare you out of bed. Before i got this i could never wake up to any other alarm clock and would always be late for work.
Only con is that it's too easy to hit the snooze button for us deep sleepers. I may rig a key lock up to it in place of the snooze button [...].
If i do, i'll write a how-to specifically for this clock.

this is the best alarm clock you could ever own! it had never failed to wake me! although i still wind up being late i dont think thats the alarms fault. (LOL) the only thing i dont like is when it falls on the floor. i have hardwood and my mother sleeps below me. other then that its great and for heavy and non heavy sleepers its great! (you can adjust the volume and the tone witch i think is a personal favorite) belive me you should get this alarm clock!
