This product is great. I can tell you I am a heavy sleeper I could sleep through anything and I am VERY hard to wake up. This alarm clock definitely wakes me up between the four LED lights blinking in your eyes and the alarm and man the vibrating disk is great( no pun intended), you put it under the mattress and it does a great job of waking you up just by itself, it literally shakes the whole bed. Although not as loud as I expected, but it is a LOT louder than your normal alarm clock and also you can set the alarm tone to either a high or low pitch. Normal alarm clocks just didn't wake me up at all and with this alarm clock I wake up every time. I definitely recommend this product for anyone hard of hearing or is a heavy sleeper like me.Product Review: Awesome alarm clock

The orange flashing light actually help you get up more then i thought. The vibrator is strong. Frequency control for the alarm is good. I had the Sonic Boom before this Sonic Bomb, and i think the Sonic Bomb is better.Product Review: Awesome for deep sleepers

I bought the Sonic Bomb alarm clock with bed shaker in hopes it would wake me up in the morning. It does. The bed shaker can be used with or without the alarm. The alarm has a variable tone and volume control. I love it. I would recommend it to any deep sleeper!Product Review: Awesome product!!!!

Note: if you find it doesn't keep time properly, check the switch on the back and make sure it is set to the proper htz. there are 2: 60 and 50. One for US, the other for the rest of the world.
I am NOT a morning person. I tend to work 12-15 hours and -then- I get to go home. Everyday, 5 days a week... or 7. When you are lucky to get 4 hours a night and have to get up before dawn (most recently 21 days in a row of work) this thing has really done the trick waking me up. Getting up is another story, but it DOES wake me up. I only wish the cords were longer so I would acutally have to get out of bed to turn it off.
The volume is awsome, and between the matress and the box spring, it makes some noise as well. If you find you need the noise, be careful slapping the snooze button as you could turn the volume down (volume for buzz sound is just to the right of the large snooze button on top).
Other than those two things, (short cords for power and shaker, and volume too close to snooze) I'm very pleased. Best alarm clock I've ever had.
