Product Review: Great Alarm for Heavy Sleepers

My mother always said I could sleep through anything. My entire life I have had a hard time waking up to alarm clocks. I am deployed and have planes fly over all night long, so there is no way a little beep is going to wake me up. This alarm is different. I don't even use the sound on this alarm, I just use the vibrate function. I put the little disc under my pillow and it wakes me up everytime. I just wish that Amazon had an option to waive the warranty. I couldn't ship it directly to my location because shipping overseas voids the warranty. So I had to send it to a family member and have them ship it to me. I definitely recommend this alarm clock for anyone who has a hard time getting up in the morning or for people that like to hit snooze a lot and have roomates.Product Review: Great Clock

I bought this clock for my daughter as she has always had a problem with being a heavy sleeper and doesn't wake up to the average alarm clocks. This has been a big help for her to not miss work or be late for school.

My wife is hearing impaired to the point that she cannot hear an alarm any longer. This clock is a life improver. She can now get up, and I can sleep through the vibrator.
The alarm is very very loud, and the lights are bright even in a room with some morning sun. I personally find the alarm and lights to be too obnoxious as "frightening" is the word I would use to describe them and that is not how I like to wake up!
If you are looking for a clock to wake you b/c you cannot hear, this is great. Enjoy!

This is an incredible alarm clock! I do not work as I have multiple sclerosis, but I still try to maintain regular nighttime sleep hours. I have recently gone through three alarm clocks that I purchased at a major retailer. I would even set all three clocks simultaneously but some mornings would wake up on my own two hours after the alarms had gone go off. Some advertisers will claim that this clock is comparable to a jack hammer while others claim a volume of 113 decibels, these are simply exaggerations. Although this clock does not meet these claims, the volume is much louder than anything you will find off the shelf. The adjustable volume and tone allow you to vary the settings so that you do not become accustomed to any one tone or volume. When waking up, the off switch is difficult to find and you almost always hit the snooze button before you can find the off button. I consider this a good thing, as you have to be more widely awake and attentive to find the off button. If you sleep through this alarm, you most likely do not have a "waking up" problem, but probably have a "getting out of bed problem" which the clock will not resolve. The vibrating disk does an excellent job by itself, and is a nice addition.
