I had reached a point where I was sleeping through TWO alarm clocks!! Since this was causing me to miss appointments and golf tee times I needed a solution! Hence, I purchased this clock and consequently no need for my other two alarm clocks. It can be set quite loud which is what I needed plus putting the vibrator under my pillow proved to be ingenious. I can finally rest assured that I will never sleep through another alarm again which is why I purchased the clock in the first place! If you have a College student or another family member who is difficult to get up in the mornings..this the alarm clock that you need to purchase. This is a three step alarm-LOUD beep, Bright flashing light, and Hard vibration of the bed. This alarm clock has been a blessing in our home...my son is never late for school.

I'm in medical school, and there are several nights a month when I sleep for 3 hours or less. Prior to purchasing this alarm clock, I would often oversleep or fail to wake up from a nap, even with an incredibly loud phone alarm going off. I must have silenced it while mostly asleep.
Now, however, I ALWAYS wake up when the bed vibratory mechanism (which I place under my pillow) goes off. Its vibrations are so strong that I don't even need the sound to be turned on. I will never go another day without this alarm clock, which is perfect for anyone who has trouble waking up on only a few hours of sleep.

I bought this alarm clock first and had to return it because the alarm didn't sound at all. I was thinking of keeping it because the vibrator worked great, but I didn't pay that much money not to get the full product. I ended up buying another one of their Sonic Boom alarm clocks and it worked great. Just be prepared to possibly have to return one in case it doesn't work.
