Product Review: Effective Little Noisemaker

This clock is noisy as promised, and the vibrating attachment is effectively scary. Bought the clock for my daughter, who has trouble getting up for work in the morning, and she puts that attachment under her pillow; it does the trick! The control buttons are a bit confusing at first, but not terribly hard to figure out. Small unit, so easily fits in most places.Product Review: Effective alarm, technical difficulties

I've always struggled with getting out of bed on time, and this is definitely hands-down the most effective alarm for actually waking me up. BUT -- and this is a HUGE but -- half the battle in waking up on time is a) making sure the alarm goes off every time, and b) not being able to easily turn the alarm off when you only meant to push snooze. I have had trouble setting this alarm to make sure it goes off every morning, without actually daily checking the alarm at the current time and then re-setting it to the morning time. I'm not sure what causes this, and I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that there are two ways to turn off the alarm (a switch on the side as well as an "alarm off" button on the top). I've also found it really easy to turn the alarm off instead of pushing snooze, because the snooze button is no larger than the other ones, and when you're half-asleep and your bed is shaking and it sounds like there's a fire alarm going off in your bedroom, you are not in the best state to wisely choose which little button to smack.
Because of these problems I've had to stop using this alarm, but I'm considering getting the newer larger-display version in the hope that it won't have these problems.

If you wake up at the same time every day, then this is the alarm clock for you. But if you are like me where every day is different, then it might be inconvenient to change the alarm time on this puppy.
However, as a basic alarm clock that vibrates like crazy, it works perfectly. There is no resisting the way it make your bed vibrate and the resulting loud noise if it touches your bed post. I just wish it was more like my other alarm clock ( Neverlate ) with 2 ( yes 2! )separate settings for each day, a nap button, and a snooze button.

The vibration alarm is very effective at getting me up, and I'm normally a very deep sleeper. It doesn't shake as strongly as you would expect, but under your pillow, it's enough to wake you up. The vibration is audible but muffled, so it won't wake up people across the room. I don't use the beeping mode since I don't want to wake anybody else up.Product Review: Exactly what I needed

This is a great alarm clock.
I usually don't review anything, but I saw alot of mixed reviews and thought this might help someone. I love this alarm clock. I havent had it that long as it was a christmas gift but I generally just use the vibrating feature and it wakes me up immediately without any of the discomfort associated with other "extreme" ways of waking up. Such as someone dumping water on you or jumping on the bed (both of which my loving wife think are funny). Anyway, the volume has a wide range of tones which help for variety, mostly because I tend to get used to any other clock after awhile and will just ignore it eventually.
To sum it up briefly this alarm clock is a exactly what your looking for if you want a wake up device for the sound...very sound sleeper. Especially at this price.
