My son is about to go off to college and I've been trying to figure out how to be sure he gets up on his own. I have had to wake him up all through high school because he is a very heavy sleeper and he would just sleep right through other alarm clocks. Now that I have this sonic boom clock for him, he actually wakes up without me. Now if he would just get up out of the bed. He keeps hitting the snooze button, but luckily it goes off again in 9 mins and it actually wakes him up again. It is so loud that it wakes me up in the room below him. I don't know how much his roommate in college is going to like it, but they will have to work that out. It has different loudness settings and we are using the loudest right now. He could try using the vibration only which we haven't tried yet, but even that makes some noise because it does vibrate pretty strong. All-in-all, I love it. It was worth every penny.

Dual power and dual time features. Our SB200ss clock comes with a 110 volt power supply, will work with 220 volt transformers. Clock also has two switches one allowing user to switch from 50Hz 110 volts to 60Hz 220 volts. This feature keeps proper time with 110 or 220 volts.
