Overall this product works well and emits a loud alarm in conjunction with the vibration, which really shakes the bed. The feature of using the clock radio with the vibration does not seem to work despite being an option and it would be better to have a longer cord so that the clock could be placed further from the bed. The cord length only permits the clock to be place beside the bed on a night stand. That said it still works to wake my daughter from her very deep sleep - actually it wakes up most of the house.Product Review: The best darn alarm clock money can buy

I was one of these people that would not wake up at the sound of any alarm. What can I say, i'm a heavy sleeper. However, I was introduced to this new idea of having a vibration stimulus instead of a sound stimulus. I was skeptical at first because the main population in which this product was targeted it to was the elderly. I'm not that old, i'm only 25. I got this for my husband who has lost all hearing out of one ear. When he sleeps on his good ear he can't hear a thing and would wake up late for work. The first night he used it I couldn't believe how quick he set up when it went off! Does the job! Numerals easy to read without glasses at night, alarm really loud but adjustable, and the shaker will get you up no matter what. I no longer need to worry about getting up on time.
