Product Review: Weak, But Effective

I bought two of these alarm clocks a few days ago, hoping to find relief from noisy, audible alarm clocks, and hoping to wake up quickly with a product that supposedly gave off very powerful vibrations. Unfortunetly, this product is not nearly as powerful as it is made out to be.
Now, keep in mind that I bought two of these alarm clocks, so I've been using two of these to wake up with, and even two of these combined are quite weak. I've tried everything from putting them under my matress, under my pillow, on my floor, and even strapping them to my leg. The only things that effectively woke me up were strapping them to my leg and putting them on the floor.
Putting them on the floor only worked because the vibrations made a noise louder than an audible alarm clock would make, which defeated the purpose of even having a vibrating alarm clock. Strapping them to my leg so that I could directly feel the vibrations worked somewhat. Imagine asking someone to wake you up by taking a back massaging device and putting it against your leg; that's how powerful even two of these combined are, which is very weak. The result is a somewhat pleasant waking up experience, more-so than with loud audible alarms, but as soon as you get access to the alarm you can press the snooze button easily and go back to sleep. It's not a powerful jolt of vibrations like some have described, however they do wake you up, but no better than audible alarm clocks do. If I woke up and could not fall asleep after waking up to this alarm clock like some claim, I would give it 5 stars, but that isn't the case.
Some features of this clock are:
-Easy to access snooze button, maybe a bit too easy
-Vibration alarm, ringer alarm as loud as a kitchen timer, and a vibrating and ringing alarm.
-Horribly weak green light activated by the snooze button that fails as a replacement for a backlit screen.
-It's easy to set the time, at least.
-Alarm on/off switch.

I drive a truck and often on overnight trips... in the truckstops I need a vibrating alarm as I usually sleep with earplugs to block out the drone of idling trucks (including my own...)
Being a heavy sleeper and on a schedule I needed something reliable and effective - this proved to be both...
The clip on the lanyard works well holding to my waistband and the shape is unobtrusive and comfortable if you end up lying on top of it...
It's easy to use, set, and hasn't failed me yet in all the times I've used it (don't count on the beeping to wake you - it's volume is that of a kitchen timer or good digital watch...)

I'm deaf in one ear, so if I'm turned the wrong way on a pillow, I will not always hear a regular alarm. I'm in an apartment and I have to get up really early, so I don't want to just get a super-loud alarm. I use this alarm on vibrate, and it works wonderfully! There's no way I can help but wake up to it. I received the product quickly; so far the batteries have been fine; and it has already saved me once when I brought it traveling, and the power went out in the middle of the night in the hotel room. If I hadn't been using this alarm and had been relying on the hotel clock, I'd have overslept and had some very mad customers! I definitely recommend it; small enough to fit easily under the pillow, and easy to check the time on in the middle of the night.Product Review: You shook me all night long

Well, you shook me for a few horrifying seconds, anyway-- I set the clock, then the alarm for two minutes later. Clipped the clock onto the bottom of my pillow inside the pillow case. Laid down and looked over the packaging and instructions (even though the clock is simple enough you don't need the instructions). Then the thing surprised me with the massive vibration that made it seem like the house was coming down. Even given that I was expecting it, it still really jolted me. I imagine if you snuck this into someone's bed as a prank, you could kill them with the shock of it.
Pros: Easy to set and use, really shakes you up. Comes with batteries installed- sweet!
Cons: The audible alarm isn't loud at all. It is quieter than a regular alarm for sure, and is of course especially muffled if its under you pillow. (But the vibration ought to wake you up every time by itself)

It wakes me up, but finding the snooze button is hard to find. You fumble and fumble to find the button. I would pass this one up and look for a better model.
