Bought this clock for my mom, who has a very severe hearing loss. It is relatively flat, so it doesn't bulge out from under her pillow. It vibrates very strongly! No more missing the wake-up call for her!Product Review: Great alarm for the hearing impaired or deaf

I recently traveled to China for a month for business. I bought this alarm clock due to it's compact size and design. I particularly liked the ability to place it inside the pillow case and clip it onto the pillow case edge. I do not hear at all without my cochlear implants when I sleep. I found the backlight adequate and the battery life great. This alarm never failed to wake me and the four minute snooze was ok. Durability has been super. I'll take it with me to Vietnam for two weeks in April on the next business trip :)Product Review: Great!

I have always been pleased with the sonic alert alarm clocks. I have a severe hearing disability and these clocks work great in waking me up (I have also recommended them for family members with normal hearing yet deep sleepers and it works great for them too). I have now been traveling more often and the portable one works great as well! I love the clip to hook it on your pillow, so you don't worry about it falling off the bed at night. I highly recommend this clock!Product Review: LOVE IT!!!

I'm even pleased with the long battery life I've experienced already. Intense vibration & noise! It's a super smart and clever alarm idea.
I can't sleep through it, even if I try! Prior to getting this I'd worked my way up to using 4 different alarms to wake me up but still slept through them sometimes. You have the option to push a snooze button. The alarm noise & vibration goes on for a full minute if left untouched, then seems to automaticly reset for the next day.
I don't think I'll ever need a different alarm, I might purchase another just in case I ever damage or lose this one! LOVE IT!!!

It's not what i ordered but its too much work to return a $20 dollar item. Ohh the product itself well it tells time. The reason i ordered a vibrating alarm clock was so i couldent hear the annoying noise. You can hear it vibrating rather than feeling it. My loss.
