I found this alarm to be good for light sleepers but not for heavy sleepers like myself because the alarm only shakes for 1 minute instead of nonstop or until I get out of bed.Product Review: Good Product but not perfect

It usually does the job of waking me without disturbing my wife though the vibrator is pretty noisy. The finish is hard plastic and when attached with the pillow clasp it can be a bit uncomfortable and noisy to keep bumping into in the night. The snooze is a very short 4 minutes. The controls are a bit clumsy to use in the dark and the screen has no backlight. To see the time in the dark, the screen must be raised (again a bit clumsy in the dark) and the overly bright light illuminates it from the front when the snooze/light button is pressed. All that said, I would still make the purchase again. It performs as advertised and I wouldn't want to be without it. It's the best travel alarm I've used.Product Review: Good alarm clock!

This clocks shakes my bed hard enough to wake me up, even if I just set it on top. If you put it between your mattress and box spring, it is difficult to pull out to turn it off. Maybe that's good if you are a very heavy sleeper!Product Review: Great Product

My wife has been deaf since birth. She cannot "hear" an alarm clock at any decible level. She has tried several different "vibrating" alarms which, due to their quality, did not work so well. I am hard of hearing and purchased this for travel. It worked great. You attach it to your pillow and it really vibrates. I cannot hear a wake-up call so I get concerned when I travel for work. Most times the hotel has a clock/radio/alarm. However, a few times they did not and I almost overslept. I would recommend this to anyone.
