I wanted the windows to rattle. Not so. The ringer is annoying, but not any louder that any other alarm clock.
The bed/pillow thingy, that thing is EXCELLENT. It will literally rock the dead. It vibrates violently.
I would have given this product five stars HAD the alarm been louder.
As advertised, I know no sonic boom was possible, but I wanted more that a muted squeek.

This clock is a replacement for an earlier sonic boom clock whose vibrator stopped working. It is a different model, purchased because of the price. A review I read when I ordered this one said that it toppled over easily, but thought we'd give it a try. Out of the box, yep, stand it up and try to touch the alarm stop button, and there it goes. It falls over. But, I'm not one much for returning things, so we'll keep this for now. Now that we know it falls over, we'll be prepared when we turn off the alarm. The time display is very large, which is nice, but the housing is very thin, thus the reason it's not very stable.Product Review: Awesome alarm clock

This alarm clock is wonderful if you have a child who can't get up with a normal alarm clock. I could hear my teenage daughter's last alarm clock down the hall and in the Kitchen and she would still be sound asleep. Now she can get up and get ready for school on her own.
