This alarm clock I thought was kind of expensive for what I wanted, but my mind has changed around on that thought. With it's earthquaking and bed shaking power and the extremely loud and annoying alarm tone that you can set yourself, this alarm clock is sure to wake you! The bed shaker does not just vibrate, it pulses with the energy of lightning under your bed or pillow like an earthquake. This alarm isn't just loud, it's louder than a horn! Especially, when you can change the tone to a very sharp note or a very low note. I like the fact that this alarm clock is customizable. You can have just the shaker going off, you can have just the tone, or you can have both. You can adjust the alarm tone from low to a very sharp high. You can put the bed shaker wherever you want so that it wakes you.
HERE IS WHAT I DID FOR SUPER WAKING UP:
- put the bed shaker in my pants (this can sometimes lead to extreme pleasure, haha)
- I bought the Sonic Boom 15 ft extention cord for the bed shaker and the alarm clock is about 10 feet away from my bed all the way on the other side of my room
- I have to alarm volume as high as it can go to a very high tone
- I have to get up to turn it off or in my case, I hit snooze just incase I might find myself going back into my bed...
THIS IS ACTUALLY VERY ANNOYING SO YOU WILL WAKE UP!
The reason I rated it four stars is because the bed shaker extention cord is bought seperately. It's not THAT short to begin with it's about 3 ft long, but it's nice to get to where you need to get yourself out of bed to turn the alarm off.

The idea sounds wonderful... a clock that will wake you alone, and not disturb your sleeping spouse. Forget it! The vibration can not be toned down, it is so loud that it will not only wake you, your spouse, and your next door neighbors, you will not be able to shut it off unless you unplug it as the 'alarm off' and 'snooze' buttons do not respond. I ordered this product for my husband who sleeps like a rock and has trouble getting up in the mornings. It is loud and the vibrations from the little disc are just what he needs to be prodded out of bed. He has the clock sitting in the floor out of arms reach so he must get up to shut it off. The cord for the disc is long enough to reach; he keeps it under his pillow actually. He does not press snooze at all because he gets up after the first buzz. My only complaint is that it wakes me up as well, and I don't have to be up for several hours after him....BUT! at least he's not smacking the snooze button 100 times and I can generally fall back sleep no problem once he's up.
