These glasses are very large so that they fit over your regular spectacles if desired. I find them invaluable for sun glare and keep them in my car for driving safety. I originally was given a pair after cataract surgery by my eye doctor for protection from ultraviolet rays. I will not be without a pair of these glasses! The reason for the 4 (rather than 5) stars is the fact that they scratch fairly easily.Product Review: The best!

Not a designer brand but the best sunglasses I have ever owned. I own about a half dozen pairs because family members keep "borrowing" them for themselves. If you work outside, drive, are near water, you can't go wrong. If your eyes are overly sensitive to light, these are for you. Wear alone or over glasses. Protect from all angles. Once I found these I threw out all of my old, never-worked-well sunglasses. I'll wear these from here on out.Product Review: Tough Shades

I purchased several pair of these for my 82 year old Grandfather. They are practically indestructible, easy to place over prescription eyeglasses (even for those with hand tremors), and allow enough shade for him to enjoy the potent Texas sun. My only complaint is that they tend to scratch easier than I'd like. Luckily, they are inexpensive enough to buy a few pair at a time, so we always have a back up. He loves them, and we'll probably never use anything else.
