Customer Review: Smart Temp hot cold pack

These packs stay very cold but tend to be very hard when taken out of the freezer. They don't soften up for 5 or so minutes after being removed. I have an older Kaz pack that I've had for 2 years and it has held up well and does not get hard when frozen. I don't know why they changed their design but I don't think it's as well made.
