After reading all of the genuinely stellar reviews for this product, I was excited to give it a try. The only decongestant that has ever worked for me is Zicam nasal spray, but as with many other sprays, you're not supposed to use it for more than 3 consecutive days. Since I have sinus issues whenever I get a cold, and those issues last 5-7 days, I was hoping this would be a solution.
I picked it up from my local drug store and tried it that evening. It burned, nothing insane, but my eyes teared up a little and it was certainly surprising.
Yet my sinuses stayed nice and swollen; breathing through my nose was still difficult.
So I thought perhaps it just takes some time. I tried it again the next morning... same result, no relief. I tried yet again a few hours later... nothing.
I'll be calling in to request a refund. I feel like someone played a practical joke on me. "Here dude, take this pepper spray and shoot it up your nose! It'll clear you up quick! I use it myself, works GREAT! *snicker*"
That said, what it DID do was burn away any congestion caused by mucus... it did not at all relieve sinus pressure.
