Product Review: Baffled and Bewildered

I wish we could choose a question mark in the rating system. I've just used the Sinucleanse neti pot, with mixed results. The right nostril went fine--although the whole setup seems a little awkward, I'm sure it gets better with practice. When I did the left nostril, though, I experienced growing head pain which culminated in a crushing localized headache which seemed to come in waves. I did use the neti pot until it was empty, and slowly felt better afterward. But the pain was frightening. If anyone can explain it, I wish they would! Afterward I sneezed several times, and now (ten minutes later) some "gunk" has come out.Product Review: great product

I'm nasally congested most of the time. I was hoping that this would help relieve some of the congestion (and praying that it might be some sort of miracle treatment that would relieve ALL of the congestion).
As soon as it arrived I read the instructions, tested it, and was surprised at how comfortable it was (although still a little awkward). It took a moment, but then just like in the videos I had watched, the water started pouring right through, though not flowing as much as I had seen in said videos. For the first few minutes after finishing, I felt pretty good. I was clear in both nostrils and could breath. But after a few minutes, I went back to being congested and it was even worse than before. And now rather than just being congested, I had a runny nose to boot.
I followed instructions and made many more attempts over the next few months, but most of the time I can't even get it to flow through my nose. Even if I have an open passageway before using it, my passageway will get blocked after a few seconds of use, and just as before, I walk away worse than how I started.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm following as instructed. I see that many other people here are getting good results, so I hate giving it only one star, but I just figured I'd let everyone know my experience.

I don't normally rave about small plastic pots, but this one saved my sanity. I was on antibiotics for 2 weeks to cure a sinus infection but it refused to move out until I flushed my sinus passages with this Neti Pot. Wonderful! I felt better in about 15 minutes. Since then, I've used it every time I feel a sinus headache coming on and I avoid the headache altogether. It seems to help with allergic reactions, exposure to dust, and general sinus headaches caused by pressure/weather. DEFINITELY WORKS VERY WELL! THE SALT SOLUTION WENT IN AS FAR AS MY EAR CANAL & GAVE A VERY DEEP CLEANSE. EVEN SAFE & EFFECTIVE FOR KIDS! MY KIDS, 8 & 7, WERE ABLE TO USE THE PRODUCT WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. MY ENTIRE FAMILY USES THE NETTI POT, & MY MOTHER IS A STRONG BELIEVER IN THIS PRODUCT!
