Product Review: A MUST for all sinus sufferers!

I bought my first Neti Pot about 15 years ago when my ENT doctor recommended it to prepare for sinus surgery. Within 2 weeks, I had clear sinuses for the first time in years and no longer required surgery! Since then, I have had maybe 2 sinus infections!
Unfortunately, my ceramic Neti Pot did not survive a plane trip, and I had to search for an unbreakable replacement. I found the SinuCleanse Nasal Wash System and have now bought them for 6 family members and have recommended them numerous times. They are fantastic for washing the "gunk" out of your sinuses whether caused by allergies or colds. I also use mine after being in a dusty environment to avoid a stuffy head.
I mix my own saline solution and only use about half of the amount recommended, but everyone is a little different on what is most comfortable on the saline concentration and water temperature.
My husband and daughter feel like they are "drowning" when they use theirs (and, thus, avoid using their "neti pots" and get sinus infections), but my sons use theirs all the time (and rarely have sinus problems).

It works well with instant results. Maybe I need more practice, but I have a hard time with the solution going down my throat. They say to breath with your mouth open while using this was, but I always end up feeling a bit like I'm drowning. What am I doing wrong?Product Review: A breathe of fresh air!

After purchasing and using my own neti pot several months ago, I decided to share my new found bit of wisdom with a couple of family members. They had precviously expressed an interest. It was a most interesting Christmas present for them. They two are enjoying the results. I personally prefer to use the pre-measured packets. It's much more convient and time saving. I think everyone should use a neti pot. It eliminates much of the use of medications and nasal sprays and the results are pretty much instantanious.Product Review: A great way to help with sinus issues

I have used neti pots and nasal washes for years. While it has helped with sinus issues in the past, the previous brand I used left me with TERRIBLE headaches. My ENT suggested I try SinuCleanse nasal wash b/c it has a lower PH level, which should help with the headaches.
I took his advice and purchased it and I am happy to say it has! The nasal wash is much less "harsh" on my sinuses while still helping to keep my sinuses clear.
I may get another neti pot, however, which is why I give it four stars instead of five. I am having a little trouble getting it to stream properly.
Other than that, I highly recommend the nasal wash!

I have suffered from nasal congestion, nosebleeds and sinus problems for years. It has been at least 10 years since I awoke without blood in my nose. After using my Neti pot the first time, my nostrils were open and stayed open. I have been using it daily for a week and am amazed at the difference. Spent hours at the park the other day, came home and used the Neti pot, and NO allergies!! Unheard of for me. I walked through the produce section at the market yesterday and was surprised to actually *smell* the produce! I just ordered one for my husband. This is the best thing I have found out about in a long time!!
