This product really works. I had a dry and scratchy throat and tried this and was impressed with how fast the symptoms went away. I now carry this with me at all times. I highly recomend. With the cold and flu season soon upon us, I suggest everyone have some Simply Gargle close by.

I use Simply Gargle even when I am not sick, it seems to clear up any itchy or hoarse throat situations. I have not been able to find it anywhere locally. They used to sell it at the local grocery store Waldbaum's. It is well worth the price. You will feel immediately better, especially if you are sick.Product Review: Took a chance...glad I did...

I had never heard of this stuff before, but I decided to order some anyhow due to the single serve packages and me constantly being on the run. I am now a HUGE fan of the product. It works incredibly well and the convenience is a life saver for gargle. I am not sure why nobody has thought of this before. It tastes great as well. I must say...it is hard to find in stores, but I will jsut keep buying from Amazon as needed since they generally have pretty low prices on this type of product. The small, pocket-sized container is great. It's got a seal that wouldn't break under pressure, so you don't have to worry about it accidentally breaking open in your pocket, and yet it's easy to open when you want to.
It has an unusual flavor. It's probably the herbs. It's not a bad flavor, but because it is so salty, it's not really a good flavor either.
There are two things I would like to see, either here on the product information page and/or in some literature that comes with the package: Some information about why salt gargling works. I'm curious.
The other thing is that I think this idea of a single, well-sealed packet you can carry with you would be great for a mouthwash too. I think that would sell very well.
All-in-all, if you want an easy-to-carry packet of salt gargle solution, this is perfect for you.

What's the most comforting thing about a salt water gargle? For me, it's the warm salt water. While these packets are convenient, soothing, and don't taste bad, the reality is that the fluid is tepid at best. So for the person who's home with a sore throat, it seems to me that a home made, practically free warm salt water gargle would be better.
However, if you're traveling with the sniffles [horrid thought!], or sending cold meds off to college with your kid, or planing to spread your germs at the office, this would be handy to have.
But they sure ain't cheap!
