The shoe stretcher works as promised. It arrived on time. The one flaw is that a small piece of wood cracked the first time I used it. It is not in a structural or functional area and I can easily glue it back into place.

...WARNING SCAM!!! This thing doesn't do what it's supposed to do. It only moves in one direction (length-wise). This will not widen your shoe as it doesn't have any mechanism to do so. Also the device is poorly put together and flimsy, but what do you expect it's made from China. Avoid seller at all cost and save your $$$.Product Review: Poor construction

Just when I got the wood forms carved down (too thick, only want to stretch out length, not width) the threaded plastic screw piece that forces the two wooden pieces apart broke! ie. it cracked then shattered. Now I have to find some other hollow threaded thing to take its place. That piece should've been made out of metal.

One of the items I received was broken; the vendor sent a replacement at no charge without me having to return the defective item because it takes a long time for me to get to a post office here in the Middle East.
