We recently started using more 7th Generation products includingSeventh Generation Powder Laundry Concentrated, Free and Clear, 112-Ounce. I have sensitive skin and have been allergic to soap since childhood. So far we have been pleased with the cleaning power of this powdered laundry cleaner. I seem to be doing well with it and only gave it 4 stars because I have been having some minor dry skin itching which could be caused by this powder. I haven't isolated the cause so it could easily be something else.
Most detergents leave my skin read and burning so I went natural many years ago, using the more expensive Shaklee and Mellaluca products. Most recently I've been using Vaska Herbatergent Scent Free - 96 oz - Liquidwith good results. I switched to Seventh Generation because although the powder is more of a hassle then a liquid ( you really do need to put the powder in and let it desolve under the water before adding clothes, the packaging is paper and biodegrades faster than the special plastic Vaska uses in it's bottles.
The Seventh Generation Powder seems to last a long time and you can often use less than the amount in the plastic measuring scoop for smaller loads. Great cleaning power, no complaints.
