Quite decent paper towels -- not much to say about it. Their absorbency is a little bit less than nonrecycled ones, but not bad, and no further trees had to be cut down for it.
What the product description should say but doesn't: these are 120-sheet rolls. Each sheet is 11x9".
Something I didn't entirely realize before I ordered a box -- thirty rolls is a lot of paper towels. Like, oh, twenty pounds of the stuff. So you're going to have these on hand for a while. You'll have to bring them along when you move, and they'll watch the children whose playpens you cleaned up with the first of them leave for college after wiping their car's dipstick with the last. It's something of a committment, really.
Product Review: Pretty Good Paper Towels--but If You're Looking for Plush, These Aren't for You

I've been using these Seventh Generation Paper Towels for a couple of months now. They hold up well during household chores and everyday use. The rolls are fairly large, so they last a while. The paper towels do seem to be slightly smaller than the Basic paper towels I was using before, but they still get the job done. I like that these paper towels aren't bleached and they are made from recycled products.
I will warn you though, If you like plush, super absorbent paper towels, these probably aren't for you. These have about the same texture as recycled paper towels you are likely to find in a public restroom (maybe a little bit thicker) but it's a similar feel. If you want that plushness from traditional paper towels, you should probably stick with them. If you are looking to be a little more eco-friendly, these are a good option for you.

I really wish Seventh Generation Paper Towels were scored down the middle of the 9" X 11" sheets like the Brawney "Pick-a-Size" towels are. I can see huge benefits to the environment if people could easily pull off just half sheets at a time which is really all we usually need.Product Review: Seventh Generation paper towels

These are pretty much what we expected. We have made the switch to environmentally friendly products and have found all Seventh Generation products to be of excellent quality.
